Unless otherwise indicated, instruments purchased through Geo Heinl & Co receive our expert shop set up before it gets to your hands. Heinl's shop service is second to none. Before an instrument leaves the building we lubricate pegs, the fingerboard and nut is dressed and shaped, the soundpost is fitted and adjusted, and the bridge is fitted and graduated. Bows are checked for straightness and curve, as well as stems and eyelets lubricated. Many stores do not offer this service which means you purchase an "as is" instrument that may be poorly set up or unplayable even. Remember, the bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of a low price.
